Brand Restructuring and Innovations

Advertising has long been viewed as a method of mass promotion in that a single message can reach a large number of people. But, this mass promotion approach presents problems since many exposed to an advertising message may not be within the marketer’s target market, and thus, may be an inefficient use of promotional funds. However, this is changing as new advertising technologies and the emergence of new media outlets offer more options for targeted advertising. Advertising also has a history of being considered a one-way form of marketing communication where the message receiver is not in position to immediately respond to the message. In fact, it is expected that over the next 10-20 years advertising will move away from a one-way communication model and become one that is highly interactive which is started these days Thanks to use of digital platform and Social Media. Another characteristic that may change as advertising evolves is the view that advertising does not stimulate immediate demand for the product advertised even in the digital mode. That is, customers cannot quickly purchase a product they see advertised. But as more media outlets, Social Media allow customers to interact with the messages being delivered the ability of advertising to quickly stimulate demand will improve.
Band restructuring will always add flavour in the marketing arena. Rebranding is no child’s play, and as many disasters have shown us, must be dealt with very cautiously. Many a times, decisions have been reversed. A classic example of this is the failure of the new sweeter Coke that was introduced in the 1980s. Coca Cola finally had to bring back its original brand and formula. Although the risks are great, rebranding remains more popular than ever. The need to stay ahead makes companies gamble their heritage for the promise of better profits in the future.
In mass advertising, marketers are exploring new forms of communication, such as experimental, entertainment, and viral marketing. One such innovative idea was Amazon India ‘#WeIndians’  the ecommerce giant had launched a quirky digital driven campaign, ‘We Indians’ that touched different cultural traits, while a series of films sought to address our major concerns about online shopping. Each of the videos captured our distinct quirks and tied it back to the brand: a woman crossing the road by using her hand as a stop signal, a man booking himself a seat on a crowding bus by dropping a handkerchief from the window, and many more. Visuals and contests helped amplify the buzz on social media. or May it be the Show Stealer after Demonetization "PAYTM" with its simple yet inspiring jingle "PAYTM KARO" . Also , going back to the past Airtel's ZOOZOO Campaign never in the history of Indian advertising we witnessed a campaign that generated so much interest and curiosity among all the segments of the society whether it young or old.. Vodafone is known for its unique advertisement campaign such as pug, happy to help service and then released “Zoozoo” advertisement campaign. As Vodafone was a new brand in India, it had a challenging task to develop its own entity and it has done it in a splendid way. Vodafone has benefitted immensely by the zoozoo campaign and it has been proved as a great marketing story. Today, branding is such a strong face that the hardly any thing goes unbranded. Most of the products and services and specially startups now coming up with their unique set of brand names of the websites, apps etc

There are three approaches to graphology:
the integrative approach, the holistic approach, and the symbolic
Integrative graphology

This approach holds that specific stroke structures relate to personality traits. Most systems within this approach use a cluster of stroke formations, to score a specific personality trait. Systems that fall under this umbrella are: fixed signs, trait stroke, French System and Graphoanalysis. It has been described as starting from the inside, and working to the outside.
Holistic graphology
This is commonly, but incorrectly referred to as Gestalt Graphology. Gestalt graphology was a system of handwriting analysis developed circa 1915 in Germany and was related theoretically to Gestalt psychology. In this approach (Holistic Graphology) a profile is constructed on the basis of form, movement and space. It has been described as starting from the outside, and working to the inside. In this approach, individual traits, such as legibility, are not assigned specific meanings, but can take on different meanings depending on the overall context.
Symbolic analysis
In this approach, one looks for symbols seen in the handwriting. This can be either Major symbolism, or Minor Symbolism.
Major symbolism is the meaning ascribed to the stroke, as it related to the page.
Minor symbolism ascribes a meaning to the stroke, depending upon the picture that the stroke draws. For example, John Wayne's signature shows a blackened out portion, that represents his lung cancer.
This approach provides the theory that underlies both Holistic Graphology, and Integrative Graphology. Max Pull is the best known exponent of this system.

DONT IGNORE YOUR HANDWRITING !! IT MIGHT TAKE AWAY YOUR NEXT JOB

Don't ignore your handwriting - it might just take away your next job

Handwriting analysis is being carried out more and more in recruitment Guardian
There was a time when clean, legible writing was a prized skill? In a time before the digital age, when employees were valued for flowing script? Now employees can go weeks without scribbling anything more than a number on a Post-it note. But that doesn't mean your scrawl doesn't matter anymore - writing analysis is an increasingly popular way to screen job applicants. Yes It is!

"When used correctly, graphology can give a clear understanding of a person's personality type, their thinking abilities, learning potential, and most importantly, their integrity.

Graphology is very scientific and powerful tool used un tge process of recruitment Psychometric tests are good enough, but they can be easily manipulated, as people can change their answers depending on what they think the company wants to hear but used in conjunction with graphology you can double check that one validates the other.

Cynics may suggest that the reason companies are reticent about revealing their use of graphology is because they use it without an applicant's knowledge - although this would be strictly against the ethics of any professional graphologist. Graphology is always undertaken with the permission of the candidate So job applicants need never fear that a sample of their handwriting has been requested for analysis without their knowledge.

Where problems may arise, of course, is in employers conducting their own impromptu analysis of an applicant's handwriting, based on little besides their own prejudices. For those of us with less than perfect script, this may certainly raise concerns when applying for jobs that call for a letter "in own handwriting". In fact, professional graphologists agree that unsuitable handwriting is by no means a reason to deny post to deserving candidate.

All this probably sounds quite tempting to time-pressed recruiters, particularly if they've been burned in the past with an exaggerated CV, or simply a candidate who doesn't fit in with the team. "Graphology works very well as an assessment of whether a person will fit in with a company, or stick out like a sore thumb"

But there is also a financial reason why graphology may be used. Compared with psychometric tests, and interviews, handwriting analysis is a great deal cheaper, and can be a cost-effective screening process to these more expensive methods. As companies become ever more aware of the costs of recruiting, it looks likely they will be open to a number of new screening processes. And graphology certainly looks set to remain one of the ways in which job applicants are taken on, or written off.

Graphologists never judge people on the quality of their penmanship.
